This space is for everyone.

The intention behind this work — and this website — is inclusion.

I care about creating a space that feels usable, welcoming, and accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or circumstance.

What I’m Doing

I aim to:

• Use clear, readable fonts
• Keep layouts simple and uncluttered
• Choose colors with enough contrast to be easy on the eyes
• Add descriptive text to images
• Structure pages in a way that works with screen readers
• Provide captions on videos whenever possible

Accessibility is not a one-time task. It’s something I continue learning about and improving over time.

For The Art of Breathing

Because this is a digital, video-based course, I aim to:

• Include captions on videos
• Provide written context or guidance where helpful
• Avoid flashing visuals
• Keep navigation intuitive and calm

If you need something specific to fully participate, please tell me.

I mean that.

If Something Isn’t Working

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website or course, I genuinely want to know.

Please email:
iamkatlucas@gmail.com

I will do my best to provide the information or support you need in a way that works for you.

Ongoing Commitment

I strive to align with applicable accessibility standards, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and relevant U.S. accessibility guidelines.

More importantly, I strive to build this space with care.

Accessibility is part of that care.
