This track is called “Expansion” because it’s exactly how I felt when I composed it. I also felt how it will expand others when they interact and bring their own energy to it, or even just listen to it.

Improvisation is one of my absolute favourite things to do, and people always seem to be mystified or frozen by it. So…I wanted to include a guide and invitation to get you started by finding the key, using the appropriate scale, and simply riffing on the notes of the scale. From there…the sky’s the limit. Remember, there is no “wrong” here.

The more you do it, the easier it gets. The more the notes of the scale become part of you, the easier it will be to let the music flow freely.

Use this for pleasure, use this to get out of your head, to dream, to express something you feel, something you’ve never been able to say, or put words to. And always most importantly…have fun. :)
